Cyberspace has a NEW marketing tool, even though they’ve been around for quite some time, yet, ONLY recently have been recognized as a Powerful communication tool for Internet marketers.

If you’ve been following the latest Internet marketing trends like I have, then you’ve certainly heard of them.

What’s this new marketing tool I’m taking about that every Serious marketer should have in place?

BLOGS! …(A.K.A. Web-Log).

Now, just for those of you who aren’t quite sure what a BLOG is, here’s a quick definition:

A BLOG(A.K.A. Web-Log) is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating(usually on a daily to weekly basis) a blog is called “Blogging” and someone who keeps a Blog is a “Blogger”.

There you have it, quick and to the point.

If you want to read up more about “Blogs”, here’s a link to an article I wrote earlier that goes more in depth.

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/blogsexplained.htm

Okay. For the rest of this article I want to focus on how ONE can $$Profit$$ from having there own Blog.

I’m going to list three ways that I reckon are the Best and most Powerful ways to get the most out of your Blog.

So, with that said, let’s go to Profit Tactic #1.

Profit Tactic #1. Writing “Articles”.

Writing “Articles” are a very Powerful way to profit from your Blog.

There are many reasons why “Articles” are valuable to your Blog, but, for the purpose of this article I’m going to give you the most vital part, and that’s your “Resource Box” at the end of your article.

Your “Resource Box” is like a classified ad and holds critical information about You, your websites and what you have to offer them after they’ve read your article.

The links within your “Resource Box” could lead to your own Product or Service you have to offer, or they could lead to a Affiliate Product related to the content of your article.

This is a fantastic way to give them something of “Value”, which is the information within the article, and a fantastic way to get them to take action by way of getting them to click on one of the links within your “Resource Box”.

That’s “Profit Tactic #1″.

Profit Tactic #2. Writing “Product Reviews”.

Writing “Product Reviews” is a fantastic way to profit from your Blog simply because they allow you to Soft-Sell your potential customer by way of giving them your personal opinion on the product you are recommending and then providing them with a link if they wish to look into it further, instead of throwing a Sales Pitch at them.

Nobody likes to be sold, but, offering them your insight on a Product and/or Service that could help solve the problem they’re dealing with is yet another fantastic way to profit from your Blog and make you look like a Hero.

That’s “Profit Tactic #2″.

Profit Tactic #3. “Text Ad” Programs.

“Text Ad Programs” like Affiliate Power Ads or Google Adsense are yet Another fantastic way to profit from your Blog.

I’ve listed these two “Text Ad” programs for a reason, One is a Pay-Per-Click(Google Adsense) and shows related ads to the content on that particular webpage and the other one(Affiliate Power Ads) makes You up to $60 to $100 dollars in commissions on a single click.

Here are the links for you to check them out further if you wish.

Google Adsense –

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/googleads.htm

Affiliate Power Ads –

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/powerads.htm

They are both FREE to join and only take you minutes to set-up depending on your experience.

Here’s an example of how mine looks if you were to set-up your Blog through Blogger.com — http://www.blogger.com with both of these programs. http://theiwe.blogspot.com

The fantastic thing is… they’ll be showed on every page of your Blog when you make a post.

I also provided a link below that shows you How-To set this up “Step-By-Step”, making it Simple for you to get started.

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/help.htm

Now, I’m sure there are many other ways to $$Profit$$ from your Blog, but these ones in my mind are the most Powerful.

Well… there you have it, “3 POWERFUL Ways To Profit From Your BLOG… Starting TODAY!”.

If you haven’t started a BLOG, maybe it’s time you considered it since NOW you have some incentive.

An SE friendly web design, or a search engine friendly web design, is one of the essential components to generating traffic to your ecommerce website through search engines. Of course, your web site must be appealing to the eye of the consumer, but it must also be appealing to the ‘eye’ of the search engine. Search engines ‘read’ websites in order to find and rank the ones most appropriate for each keyword phrase entered by a potential customer.

Designing a search engine friendly website is not hard. Some of the elements you should implement in your design may even seem like plain common sense. You may be surprised, but, to learn how many people don’t follow these simple rules and make websites that search engines find hard to read.

First of all, the text should be in a simple font. The fancy cursive like scripts may look pretty, but they aren’t very simple for the eye to scan. Neither are they simple for the search engine to read. This means keeping the font basic, the color plain, and the size normal. Black, 12 point, Times New Roman, Courier, or Arial are preferred. The actual text is not where you want to draw the attention. Instead, the subject that the text conveys should be in the spotlight.

Furthermore, arrange your text naturally just as you would on the page. Use proper paragraphs and bullet points as well as other devices to break up the text into bite size pieces. Take it simple when using capital letters, bold faced print, and exclamation points. Using as much text as possible (at least 250 words but no more than 750 words) will help search engines not only find you but rank you as an expert in the field and place you closer to the top of the list.

Avoid flashing text and cutesy graphics at all costs. Not only are they distracting and amateurish, but search engines read graphics and pictures like blank space. Blank space doesn’t boost page rankings. Make sure that every page utilizes text and specific key words associated with the product or information that you are utilizing to pull in targeted traffic. Text is the focus as far as search engines are concerned. Graphics are for the customer, and each one should sell an aspect of your product and carry meaning. But if search engine friendly design is your goal, take careful consideration of your text.

Another thing to avoid in making a solidly SE friendly website design is spam. This can show up in your site in the form of hidden text in the HTML code. Instead, make sure that your HTML code includes Meta Tags. These aren’t the huge hook to catch the attention of search engines that they once were, but they do help. And every small bit adds up to a higher page ranking!

Another element of search engine friendly web design and, possibly the most vital, is the layout of your site. Unwieldy navigation with dead end links on your site does not just annoy the potential customer, but it confuses search engines, as well. Confusing search engines is no way to boost your rankings, your traffic, or your sales. Use a sitemap if you need to and make sure that the hierarchy of pages makes sense. Use a Google sitemap if you have a large site, and make sure that your navigation tools are concise and specific – no creative misnomers or questionable graphics.

Though the elements of search engine friendly web design emphasize simplicity and therefore come across as simplistic, ignoring them will not only turn off customers but search engines as well. Make your web site search engine friendly and watch your traffic increase exponentially in no time.

For most people, building a web site is simple. Even a 10 year ancient can add all the bells and whistles. But for some reason, getting people to visit your site often proves to be a small more hard. In fact, it’s not at all unusual for a web site owner to never receive a single visitor and soon give up any plans to have a successful site.

So how can you boost your web site’s traffic? According to Internet Marketing Consultant Gaston Collins at http://www.GastonCollins.com – there are a few quick ways to get traffic for a very minimal cost, but one of the first things you should do is setup a web site stats system that will allow you to track where your visitors come from. “It’s vital to know what pages your visitors will be coming from to visit your site. Otherwise you won’t know what works and what doesn’t,” Gaston says.

So with that out of the way for now, let’s look at some ways to get traffic. First of all, you can use the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) method. Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing are the most well loved PPC search engines.

Second, you can get free traffic by marketing your site through organic search engines. The major players are Google, Yahoo, and MSN – in that order.

The third way to get traffic to your site is through various methods of posting links to your site around the internet. The top methods of choice for this is contributing useful information to message boards and writing articles.

Finally we’ll discuss an often over-looked method of traffic generation, which is Ebay. You can look all day long, but you may not find a larger, more laser-targeted source of traffic at such a low price.

Now that 2010 has arrived, it is the habit of many people to make a resolution for the New Year. While many people focus on self-improvement, some opt to make resolutions about their business. Usually this involves a resolution to increase their revenue for their online business.

But did you know that it is really quite simple to increase your online revenue?

The trick is to drive more traffic to your Internet business(es). As you know by now, more traffic generally means more money.

No matter what type of site you have, your success hinges on getting as much traffic as possible. But like many online business owners, you have probably exhausted many sources for increasing traffic.

Recently I have found three incredible ways to drive more traffic to your site. The excellent news is that all these methods are not being done by many webmasters.

So if you want to increase traffic for 2010, be sure to use each of the following three traffic-building mechanisms:

1- Data Feeds

Do you like the thought of making hundreds, even thousand of pages of legitimate content?

With a data feed, this is possible.

Many online businesses utilize data feeds as a way to help their affiliates. If you are not familiar with this concept, a data feed is file that contains a list of products, descriptions and prices for individual items that are sold by a company.

With a data feed, you can make a specific content page for each product. So if an affiliate program has thousands of products, then you can make thousands of pages of quality content. As you probably know, the more content usually leads to more traffic.

Data feeds are fantastic for getting natural search engine traffic because they list specific products that people are looking

for. If you can find a data feed that is related to your specific website, then you can easily generate more natural traffic for your online business.

2- Viral eBooks

Another tool that can dramatically increase your website traffic is a viral ebook or report. Most of the time, a viral ebook is a PDF that people send to their contacts, which contains your marketing message. It is called viral because every person that receives the ebook is given a reason to pass along your material.

Before starting a viral marketing campaign, it is vital to make a reason why people will want to pass along your marketing message. Some of the best reasons can include simple greed or a desire to provide entertaining information to their friends. If you can develop a hook that will take advantage of either of these, then it will be simple to make a successful viral marketing campaign.

What I usually do is make a special 5 to 10 page report on a specific topic. Then I find an affiliate program that is related to the topic. Then I make a mechanism where people can easily brand this ebook with their own affiliate link.

This type of viral ebook is valuable because you can place a mini advertisement or sponsorship on every copy. In addition,

you can let the reader know that he or she can make money by offering this viral ebook. As a result, there is a chance that every person that reads the book will click over to your site.

3-Blogs

By now, you have probably heard about the power of blogs. If you haven’t made one, then you should use the New Year to take advantage of this traffic pulling tool

With blogs, you are providing your audience with fresh new content about your topic. People like to read them, because most

blogs contain new information in an entertaining and simple-to-read format.

The best part about blogs is how much they are valued by search engines. The majority of search engines consider any information on a blog to be vital current news, so they pay special attention to articles listed there. As a result, you can use blogs to drive a larger part of traffic to your Internet business.

For 2010 you should make a resolution to get more traffic to your site. By implementing these three tools into your marketing mix, you will learn that your web traffic (and income) will dramatically increase.

One of the oldest yet still more effective techniques in driving targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers is information-based marketing. This is why article writing, submissions and publications are at an all-time high.

There are many tools that you can use to make the process of distributing your articles simpler. But, although this is invaluable in getting your article exposed to more sites, there are common mistakes that some people make before submitting their articles to directories.

Let us take a look at the more common mistakes made in 3 key areas:

1) Confusing the reason to promote articles with the reason to write them.

In article writing, the main benefits of you promoting them is branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts.

But, there is one reason why you write articles, and that is to inform your audience about a subject. It is greatly vital that your article is based upon this fact, or else you stand to fail in the promotional benefits as outlined above.

Of course, it is also highly vital that you figure out how to get people to read you article, and then to click on your site link in the resource box. I have produced a couple of articles that cover these areas so please check them out :-) .

2) Failing to realize and maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing.

You will more than likely already know that your article can generate links back to your site from the article directories themselves, and also from any sites who publish your article from these directories.  But, did you know that you can attract more visitors and better search engine results from the same article?

The first step to achieving this is to provide relevant keywords at strategic places in the article. But, do not overdo this.  A excellent benchmark is to aim for between a ten to fifteen percent keyword density. I won’t go further into this here as I’ve discussed this in other articles but if you want to find out more, look out for more of my article marketing articles.

You shouldn’t just aim for your article to be accepted by article directories, but should ultimately aim for it to be used by publishers who scour the directories for website content. You should not underestimate the potential that this can have on your promotional efforts, as many of these publishers may have hundreds or thousands of regular visitors who could then view your article.

Start out by having a plot of what you want achieved and make sure that you reach your targets. It is vital to do this so that you can reap the maximum benefits of every article that you write.

3) Making articles with content that does not help your readers.

Maybe your only plot is to make an article and get links back from article directories, and that any visitor that you may get from this is fine.

Well you may need to reckon again. Many article directoriesclamp down on the amount of articles that they accept that are simply not up to standard. And even if a poorly written, uninformative article does make it into the article sites, then the potential of being picked up by webmasters seeking quality content is certainly lost.

The benefits of one publisher with a hundred thousand website visitors picking up your article should be enough incentive for you to write an informative article. This is by no means impossible, and you may find that this value is conservative in what you may achieve from a number of publishers running your article on their site.

Researching into a topic that is sought after is vital. There may be many readers of this article who will feel that this information is all well and excellent but feel that they cannot write an article well, or may not know enough about a certain subject to write an article. This is by no means a dead-end. There are many places where you can research into a topic, or hiring a writer might be an option worth considering.

The choice really is yours on how dedicated you are in increasing the exposure of your article, and consequently your website. On a basic level you can choose to gain a few backlinks from article directories, or with a small more effort you can delight in massive exposure from providing quality content.

Many have questioned me this very question: “Why do some affiliates make less than $200 per month while the top affiliates go on to make as much as $3,000-$30,000 per month?”

The Truth of the matter is most affiliates are not willing to take the path that the top affiliates are taking to make such insane income. They want a get-rich quick system. This hardly works with affiliate programs. But, there is excellent news for affiliates who are willing to get their hands dirty a small bit. Successful affiliate marketing today is based on the following 8 factors.

A excellent friend of mine who is an affiliate applied it and made over $100,000 in pure profits from sales generated by him.

These factors seem so simple and are often neglected but they are immensely powerful once applied.

1. Identify A Niche

The success of most affiliates comes from their chosen niche. If you find a profitable Niche, you can make a ton of money. As an affiliate you have to research an area or an interest you are very excellent at. Find out if people are interested or are really researching for your area of interest. Locate reputable affiliate programs in your Niche market and contact them. Also do some findings about these programs to authenticate their credibility.

2. Build A Simple Website

Once you have identified your Niche, the next thing you do will be to go online and research for information that you will use to build your website. Please take note that you will need to build a free content website with all the information you can get concerning your subject. Dont be worried to give away this information, once you give away and over deliver to your prospects, they will always come back to you for guidance. But do not sell anything on your site.

3. Grow An Opt-In Email List

When you build your website one of the goals of your website will be to get email leads. This you can achieve by providing a simple opt-in email webform on every page of your free content website. This will make it simple for your visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter or tips of that subject. You should cultivate the habit of getting information that will be useful at least once every week to your subscriber base.

4. Publish More Free Content

Each article you find online that will be helpful both to your subscriber base and prospects should be posted on your website. Try to only provide high quality information and newsletters to your website. Give out freebies on your site to enhance subscription rate and practically over deliver on your information generousity.

5. Find Out What Your Prospects Want.

In the course of writing your newsletter. Try to build relationship with your list by constantly replying each and every email. Show them you Really care for them by pre-selling yourself. Let them know you are interested in them as a person and not just someone who is interested in making a quick bucks. Give off yourself freely and you will earn their trust and confidence. Find out what product they really need.

6. Get The Product For Your List

After you have built trust with your email list they will be in the mood to buy from you as a recommendation from a trusted source. You have to get products that you are affiliated with or that you have bought licence for or products that have Master resell rights. But this product must be of high quality or else you will loose the credibility that took you time to build.

7. Sell The Products To Your List.

Send out your recommendation or review on the product and make it seem like a special offer that has a time span within which the price will be increased, this will make your offer to be sold out quick. You will be amazed at the result you will get this time. You can easily make tens of thousands of Dollars this way.

8. Go Back To Step 4 (Publish More Contents)

Repeat the steps from 4 to 7 for every 2-4 months to your email list and do not overwhelm them with products they dont need.

There you have it.This is the exact steps and strategies that the top affiliates are using to take away your competition. If and when properly done you can generate $60,000-$100,000 per annum.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel. If you are looking for a quick way to instant wealth, chances are that you may never see it.

Analyzing your competition is a excellent place to start when optimizing your web site for search engine placement. SEO or search engine optimization is about topping your competition. By looking first at web sites that rank high for your key word phrases you will have an understanding of the time and cost involved to have high rankings in the search engines. If you are going after a competitive keyword phrase the amount of time involved will dramatically increase.

When analyzing the competition, search for your keyword phrase or phrases in Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Look at the top sites and especially look at the sites that rank high in all three of the major search engines. You now have a list of competitor web sites; these are your targets to pick off one by one.

Check your competitors’ backlinks or links to them from other web sites; this is going to be the best indicator of how much effort you are going to have to place into your search engine optimization project. You can check backlinks in Google and MSN by typing link:www.yourdomain.com. In Yahoo you would type link:http://www.yourdomain.com. Yahoo also has a special command that will show you all the links to an entire web site. This can be done by typing linkdomain:www.yourdomain.com. Now you can see all the links to the home page and sub-pages in a web site. The linkdomain command is the most helpful when evaluating links. Be sure to check links in all three major search engines so you do not miss anything. Also check backlinks on competitors sub-pages. You will not need as many deep links but this can make a huge difference when trying to get a keyword to rank on a sub page.

When evaluating your competitors’ links, keep in mind that this can be a link source for your web site. See if the web sites linking to your competitors accept web site link submissions. When submitting to other sites use your keyword phrase for your anchor text when ever possible.

Using the Google toolbar can be helpful too when evaluating links. Google assigns each page a page rank score based on a 1 to 10 scale with 10 being the highest. Do not solely look at a page’s page rank score; it is better that the page be on topic rather than an irrelevant topic and a high score.

Next look at the competitors’ title tags; are they using keywords in the tag? Be sure to check the keywords tag and description tag – I always find excellent keywords this way. There are some fantastic free SEO tools on the internet that will automate these processes. Just do a search for free SEO tools and you will have a lot of tools with different and unique features for your needs.

Links are very vital but if you are smart you will not need as many to beat out the competition. Build your inbound links slow and steady, and from a variety of sources. Make sure to use your keyword phases in your anchor text and vary the text for some of the links. This will appear natural to the search engines and should help you to avoid over optimization or spam penalties. If you are trying to buy one hundred inbound links to your web site, space your acquisitions out over a three month period or longer. One hundred backlinks appearing all at once looks very unnatural especially if you do not keep building backlinks at that rate. Make sure you have well written relevant content. When optimizing your web site stay with in all search engine guidelines. The guidelines will give you a excellent thought of what and what not to do for you web site to rank well in the search engines. You do not want all your hard work to go to waste because of an over aggressive tactic or simple mistake that is outside of the search engine guidelines.
